Our history

We are BAAM, the Business and Arts Association of Montreal. We are young professionals from the business community who take concrete actions to create lasting ties with the Montreal arts scene.

Some say that the arts without business acumen lack financial resources and that businesses without the arts lack in sense.

BAAM unites these two communities, arts and business. BAAM is the rallying cry of young business professionals in favour of the arts and in support of artists.

United by a shared passion for the arts, a group of fresh faces in the business community have decided to join forces and volunteer their time, energy and resources to create BAAM. Dynamic and results-oriented, BAAM and its members aim to pursue the promotion and sponsorship of art and artists by bringing art and business together through an array of partnership opportunities.

And, we’re more motivated than ever to blast off!

Every day our history is built through the actions of our various committees and by hardworking volunteers who create fantastic events that unite the arts and business communities. BAAM is only just beginning.
